Letter

Dear Hmar Brothers,

Lamka is your land, Lamka is our land, Lamka is my land-my forefather's land. Let this be clear, and let us respect our great grandfathers who came to this abandoned and mosquito infected place called LAMKA many many years ago when no one else chose to live.

Let us not grieve their departed soul, who could not live today to see their generations prosper in this beautiful land Lamka.

We can hate and fight one another, till our blood runs dry but some day, today or tomorrow we have to come together and learn to love one another despite our shortcomings because we are one and our destinies cannot be isolated no matter how hard we try.

This moment, this precious moment, let us come and sit together and talk the things which we once did behind closed doors, let us stop this damn cold lingual war, let us be courage enough to disagree, let us stop being PAPER LIONS, instead let us negotiate and come to mutual agreement.

In everything we do, let us be very careful not to hurt each others sentiments. Let us not act out of envy or jealousy. Let us correct one another rather than condemn one another.

On this Centenary year of our cherished Gospel. Let us give righteousness its right place. And let our people get what they deserve.
